Our Story
A Proud Greek Legacy in Household Equipment
At Roller Kappatos, our story is one of innovation, dedication to quality, and a commitment to meeting the everyday needs of our partners and customers.
Since 1971, we’ve proudly carried a distinctly Greek identity, building a reputation for excellence in the household equipment industry. From appliance rollers to kitchen bases, washer-dryer connectors, and small appliances, our products reflect decades of creativity, expertise, and an unwavering focus on quality.
Our journey started in 1971 with a simple challenge: two individuals in a small room needed a solution to move a heavy appliance. This necessity inspired the creation of our first appliance roller -a product that would go on to set the standard for innovation and reliability.
This moment laid the foundation for a Greek industry built on vision and ambition. From the start, we prioritized high-quality manufacturing to meet customer needs. By 1976, we had outgrown our original space and moved to Acharnes, Attica. This marked the beginning of a new era, as we expanded our product line to include electric appliances.
Throughout the 1980s, Roller Kappatos strengthened its position in the Greek market. By continually expanding our product range to address evolving customer demands, we earned the trust and loyalty of consumers who valued our quality and reliability.
In 1990, we partnered with leading household equipment retailers, opening new doors in the retail sector. These collaborations further cemented our reputation as a trusted name in the industry and broadened our reach.
Entering new markets in 2000, we launched a range of oven trays, demonstrating our commitment to diversification. By 2006, we had established a state-of-the-art 2,000 m² production facility in Avlona, Attica. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, this facility set new standards in quality and efficiency, allowing us to serve our customers even better.
The next decade marked a significant transformation for Roller Kappatos, as the leadership transitioned to the next generation. With Theofilos Kappatos at the forefront, the company began exporting its products internationally, taking its first steps onto the global stage.
Our debut at the Ambiente International Fair in Frankfurt in 2012 was a defining moment, showcasing our unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. By 2019, exports accounted for 70% of our revenue, firmly establishing Roller Kappatos as a leader in the global household equipment industry.
In 2021, we took a significant step forward, moving to our new 4,000 m² facilities in Oinofyta, Boeotia. These cutting-edge premises house three advanced production lines, equipped with state-of-the-art robotic technology. This investment not only enhanced our production capabilities but also solidified our reputation for delivering products of unmatched quality and reliability.
Today, Roller Kappatos continues its dynamic growth. From a single production line and a team of 20 employees in 2021, Roller Kappatos now operates three production lines and employs over 70 skilled professionals.
